About Me — The Heart Behind Spinz Gym
Hi, I’m Ryan Spinello, the founder and head trainer at Spinz Gym. For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of helping young adults and athletes build fitness confidence that goes beyond the gym and shows up in every area of life.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science and Bible along with my array of training certifications, my approach combines evidence-based training with a deeper purpose: to help people not only feel stronger physically, but to use that strength to support and uplift others.
I’ve played basketball my whole life, but I’ll be honest — I wasn’t the biggest or the most naturally gifted player. I overthought the game, struggled with my size, and battled self-doubt. It wasn’t until I committed to the gym that things started to change. Lifting weights didn’t just make me stronger — it gave me confidence, clarity, and the ability to show up for my team in a whole new way.
That’s exactly what I want to pass on to the athletes and young adults I train.
Because fitness, to me, isn’t about chasing praise or fitting an image. Too often, fitness feels selfish — all about looking a certain way for approval. At Spinz Gym, we flip that script. Here, fitness is about building yourself up so you can better support your teammates, your family, and your community.
When you get stronger, more confident, and healthier — you don’t just change your own life. You change the world around you.
If that mission speaks to you, I’d love to connect.
Let’s build something bigger than fitness — let’s build confidence with purpose.
Build Confidence. Show Up. Change the World.
